An easement is the legal right to use part of the owners real estate. Examples: The right to use a driveway, path or garden area of a neighbor's yard or utility easements for power lines, phone lines, TV cable, water pipes, sewer lines and gas lines.. In Adelanto, Most easements are obtained by permission.

Some easements can be hostile which means a neighbor is denying access. In Adelanto a parcel cannot be land locked.
